How does it work? Using the hypothesis that wrinkles are a form of long-term skin trauma, the signs of aging trauma are treated with the body's own healing mechanisms, such as the production of collagen.
As we age, our collagen fibres become weak and break, causing wrinkles and sagging skin tissue. A key ingredient in Redermic is a nearly pure derivative of madecassoside, which is one of the molecules in Centella asiatica, a healing plant from Madagascar. Madecassoside is purified at over 95% concentration and is combined with pure Vitamin C dosed at 5%.
Vitamin C is a well known anti-aging active ingredient that has been shown to help build collagen, fight free radicals that lead to skin damage and create more radiant skin.
These two agents intensify the synthesis of skin filling and support fibers (collagens I, II, IV and VII). As a result, wrinkles become shallower and firmness is increased.
Redermic also contains hyaluronic acid, an hygroscopic (attracts moisture) molecule, to instantly smooth surface micro-grooves.
Results demonstrating Redermic's effectiveness were shown in a wide-reaching clinical study carried out in a hospital center, respecting a strict protocol, on women aged 45 to 60, over a period of 6 months. Redermic's effectiveness was measured using clinical scores (31 criteria) and biometrology (measure of elasticity, ultra-sound, profilometry, clinical photographs).
In another study, Redermic's effectiveness in the treatment of the signs of skin aging was measured in a clinical study on women aged 45 to 60 with advanced signs of skin aging (deep wrinkles, loss of firmness). This was an in vivo clinical study over a 6-month period using 2 applications per day.

Vitamin C is an active agent that oxidizes and gets darker when in contact with air. Before closing the tube, wipe off the side of the tube to prevent darkening of the cream. Note that vitamin C preparations may occasionally stain certain fabrics.
