La Roche Posay Physiological Micellar Solution is ideal to quickly and gently cleanse the entire face while respecting sensitive skin and eyes. Face, sensitive skin, eyes and lips are perfectly cleansed; their physiological balance is respected.
How does this solution work? It forces tiny particles of impurities sitting on the skin to clump together, forming larger particles which are easier to remove.
Sensitive skin is a skin type that over-reacts to ingredients or situations more aggressively than other skin types. Its barrier function (ability to protect the skin) is often weakened.
The skin is more vulnerable an its physiological balance is fragile so attention must be paid to gentle yet efficient skin care products.
Cleansing is important because even in the absence of make-up, impurities can accumulate on the skin's surface. These must be removed without using harsh ingredients that can irritate the skin. If impurities are left on the skin's surface for a long period of time, they can oxidize, leading to an over-reaction by the sensitive skin type. This can lead to visible irritations on the face.
In order to prevent the oxidation process, gentle and regular cleansing is necessary - this is where La Roche Posay's Physiological Cleansing line comes in.

- High make-up removal power
- Hydrating and soothing active ingredients
