Preparation H Cream with Biodyne
$22.00 USD

Preparation H - New Formula. Still with Bio-dyne. The new formulation of Preparation H still contains bio-dyne, but has been reformulated slightly. It may appear slightly different, but since the active ingredient remains the same, you should expect it to work in the same way.

Though marketed as an effective treatment for hemorrhoids, Preparation H Cream from Canada is also used to fight wrinkles and relieve under eye puffiness by those in the know. The 'secret' ingredient is Bio-dyne (also known as Live Yeast Cell Derivative - LYCD).

Preparation H Cream found in the USA does not contain biodyne, which was removed when the product was reformulated years ago. Instead, it contains phenylephrine HCI 0.25 % - a vasoconstrictor that some dermatologists claim will constrict capillaries and temporarily reduce dark circles and puffy eyes. However, many individuals report irritation and burning when using the US version of Preparation H.

In the People’s Pharmacy Guide to Home and Herbal Remedies 1999 by Joe & Teresa Graedon,  the authors attest to the Canadian version of Preparation H  being used for many other indications besides hemorrhoids. For years, it has been used to treat bed sores, itchy surgical scars, burns, dry cracked fingers, and even wrinkles.

Why does Biodyne work?
There is data to suggest that LYCD accelerates wound healing and is biologically active on skin cells. In fact, a clinical study conducted at Shriners Hospitals for Children-Cincinnati Burns Institute, Ohio, demonstrated that topical application of LYCD  accelerated the wound healing of diabetic mice (100% wound closure with biodyne vs 31.4% without biodyne – a significant difference).

The active ingredient in biodyne has been isolated as a protein fraction containing a mixture of several peptides. And we already know that some peptides offer benefits to skin.

Some say that supermodels swear by it as a beauty essential They claim that this hemorrhoid cream gives them an instant lift when they are bothered by eye bags. Celebrities including Conan O'Brien and Miss USA, are purported to use Preparation H from Canada.
